Executive Biography - Corvus Global
Brent Perry, Chief Executive Officer
Brent Perry is a global operating and management executive who’s successful at
building high-performance teams and leading sophisticated manufacturing and
service organizations with P&L responsibility.
Mr. Perry is a strategic visionary who has a strong understanding of the energy
sector and attacks problems with a clear sense of purpose and urgency. He is
well skilled at establishing operational excellence within culturally diverse
environments, translating conceptual models into specific growth strategies and
planning and executing multi-faceted global business development campaigns
designed to improve market share, gross revenues and net profit.
Previously, Mr. Perry worked as vice president and director of operations,
among other noted titles, for a large number of multinational companies,
including Luhrs Corporation (400M business, USA), Grand Banks Ltd., (100M,
Asia) and Hanse Yachts LLC (130ME, Germany). He’s held positions ranging from
vice president to director of operations.
Mr. Perry has a clear vision for the expansion of the lithium-ion battery
industry and a proven history in lean manufacturing, sales, product
distribution and customer service leadership.
Neil Simmonds, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Simmonds has worked in the battery industry for more than 25 years and
holds more than 70 battery-related patents.
He has worked as the lead researcher on numerous research projects and has
developed products for many of the worlds’ leading original equipment
manufacturers, including Bell Labs/Lucent Technologies, Motorola, Phillips
Communications, Sony Corp., NEC, Panasonic, Sanyo and Rayovac Corp. among
others, as well as numerous government and military organizations. He also
enjoys playing ice hockey, fishing and fine food and wine.
Neil's achievements include the following:

The first commercially available battery conditioning system for nickel cadmium
batteries (circa 1987).

The first sub-4C charging algorithms for nickel cadmium batteries (circa 1991).

The first sub-1C charging algorithms for nickel metal hydride batteries (circa
1993).

One of the first single-unit multi-chemistry chargers for NiCd, NiMH and Li-on
batteries (circa 1995).

The first universal input starved-regulator technique for Li-ion/LiP batteries
(circa 2000).

The lowest cost full-function charger for Li-ion/Lip batteries (circa 2001).

A highly integrated controller for the control of Li-ion batteries in electric
and hybrid electric vehicles (circa 2005).
Cecil (Cec) Primeau, Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Primeau brings to Corvus Energy a unique combination of management,
financial and information technology skills. He is well suited to making a
difference in today's rapidly evolving business world and looks forward to
making a difference at Corvus.
Previously, Primeau held senior management positions as chief financial
officer, chief operations officer and chief information officer in a broad
range of industries, including A&W, FRBC, Argus Industries,
PricewaterhouseCoopers and NewHeights Software.
Recently, Mr. Primeau helped turn a telecom software start up into a widely
recognized and admired company worth more than $20 million and named by
Canadian Business magazine as one of the top 50 companies to work for in
Canada. For nearly two
years, he has honed his operation and financial officer duties by working on
business planning and strategy with a number of start-up businesses.
Mr. Primeau is a Certified Management Accountant and has a Masters of Business
Administration in International Management from Asia Pacific International
University.
