All components of a Tug Technologies Corporation MA Series Tow Tractor powertrain
were reviewed and analyzed for inefficiencies and re-engineered to maximize run
time and minimize power consumption. All existing operator controls were integrated
into the new design to ensure a seamless transition for the operators on the ramp.
Original drawbar capacity, speed and other performance criteria remain unchanged,
the only difference is the fact that the machine now consumes zero fuel and requires
significantly less maintenance.
Corvus Energy is offering two types of CorPower GSE installation kits:
Corvus Engineers are currently developing a full line of CorPower GSE suitable for aviation,
military, ports, ferry and rail terminals and logistics operations. The first product is the
retrofit kit for the iconic TUG Technologies Corporation MA Series Tow Tractor. This retrofit
kit comes in three energy ratings to cover all duty cycles observed at airport operations:

Light duty (the "Bag Room Tug") - 6.5 kWh, suitable for regional airports and lighter duty assignments in Tier 1 airports

Medium duty (the "Ramp Tug") - 13 kWh, suitable for most passenger flight operations at Tier 1 airports and some cargo operations

Heavy duty (the "Runner Tug") - 19.5 kWh, suitable for heavily trafficked passenger and cargo operations
Corvus Energy is actively marketing the MA Series field retrofit kits and is looking for distribution partners to bring these kits to market.
