Scalability

Corvus Energy manufactures a standard size battery module that is similar in size to a standard 8D enclosure. Each module has two high power battery posts (+ and -) as well as a waterproof 4 pin CanBus data connector. These modules have the ability to be configured in a number of ways to give the user a battery pack from 12 volts to 800 volts and from 6.2 kilowatt/hours to an unlimited capacity.

This is accomplished by arranging the modules in the appropriate series/parallel configuration and interconnecting the CanBus data connector to each module.

A master controller is also needed to connect into the CanBus data bus to control the overall operation of the pack. The master controller also has the necessary power components to connect and disconnect the overall pack power to the load.
